Adriano De Maio is the new President of Area Science Park

Italian Minister of School, University and Research named Adriano De Maio as new President of Area Science Park technology and scientific Park based in Trieste. De Maio is an electronic engineer, researcher and is research fellow at University of California Berkeley. He was rector of the Politecnico di Milano and Luiss Rome Universities. De Maio is one of the major expert about innovation in Italy and he recently published a book named Innovazone Vincente (winning innovation) where he underlines success stories of innovation created and developed in Italy that transformed great idea in real industrial and social value. De Maio is also President of Regional Insitute for Research of Lombardy and of the Vimercatese technology district about Information technology and cleantech that is based in an area located north east of the city of Milan where big companies such as Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, StMicroelectronics, Telit and others have their Italian headquarters.
