Start-up Initiative alumnus Agroils receives Confindustria Innovation award

On October 27, at the Forum Orientagiovani organised by Confindustria in Naples, Agroils received an Award from the president of Confindustria Emma Marcegaglia and the president of Banco di Napoli Giuseppe Castagna.

The Agroils team, who took part in the fifth edition of the Start-Up Initiative, developed an energy-efficient, low-emission procedure to obtain biofuel from Jatropha plants.

Giovanni Venturini Del Greco, president of Agroils, declared: "After four years of research, we decided to start looking for equity to sustain our growth, so we applied for the Start-Up Initiative selection process. It was an interesting journey which brought us face-to-face with several investors and funds, who can provide precious feedback to improve our business plan and our strategy".
